The three independent loss adjusting organizations Twentyfour, Rekon, and Interschaden are merging their activities in the property and liability insurance loss adjusting sector.
The newly founded Interschaden Außenregulierung GmbH is being established as a subsidiary of the Cologne, Germany-based The Claims Factory GmbH to which Rekon and Twentyfour already belong. In return, the Van Ameyde Group is taking shares of The Claims Factory GmbH. The companies are thereby creating the largest independent network of field claims adjusters, bringing together over 200 adjusters. Interschaden is a subsidiary of the Van Ameyde Group, one of the largest claims management companies in Europe.
Michael Trier, managing partner of Twentyfour GmbH and partner at The Claims Factory GmbH, and Thomas Fenstermacher, founder, and partner of Twentyfour GmbH and The Claims Factory GmbH, talk about the move:
“By integrating into our group the service-provider Interschaden, a firm established for decades in the industry, we’ve achieved yet another milestone on our way to becoming the largest and best-performing provider of independent loss adjusting services. This strongly represented network of qualified claims adjusters will significantly grow our overall capacity and further accelerate our handling times. Interschaden is active in settling large claims cases in the property and liability insurance segments, as well as special claims such as trade claims, and is thus a good addition to our adjuster network Rekon, which works in similar areas. What’s more, both of these service companies use the market-leading adjustment software from the Berlin-based provider Rocketform, which facilitates integration. We’re planning for intensive collaboration between our companies, particularly as well for training and continuing education of loss adjusters, and in quality management. We hope to gain input as well through transnational sharing of expertise and information with other market-leading claims service providers within the network of the Van Ameyde Group.”
Gerd Neumann, managing director of Interschaden Außenregulierung GmbH and Alexander Dietrich, managing director of Van Ameyde in Germany, sum it up this way:
“We’ve been convinced ever since we began talking together that this cooperation will empower us to make things happen moving forward. Both parties bring decades of expertise and innovative ideas into the partnership. We look forward to this collaboration with absolute experts in the loss adjusting sector. The goal of this partnership for the market and our clients is to be able to offer the greatest possible coverage and best possible flexibility, service, and loss adjusting prowess, ranging from simple to highly complex claims cases.”
